Last Friday, we organised a New Year’s reception for all our training instructors, a great opportunity to open the year festively.

During this pleasant gathering we wanted to express our pride in our fantastic team of instructors, now led by John van Limburg Stirum for the second year.

A long track record

We are particularly proud of the instructors who have been committed to training our pilots for years. During the reception we awarded special Wings to the instructors who have been associated with EPST for 5 years: Andreas Lelempsis, Ronald Beukema, Tim van Ham, Jo Schoenmaker and Henk Jan van der Heiden.

Laur Kirkels has even been part of the EPST team for 10 years; in addition to his Wing, he received a nice dinner voucher for this.

After awarding these Wings, we also wanted to pay attention to the great efforts from the selection team, led by Willem de Vries. In our view, the selection process is incredibly important, because we want all our students to be able to look forward to a successful career. That requires specialist work and dedication from a strong selection team.

Finally, we turned the spotlights to our office team. This seven-member ‘crew’ was called forward, received a loud applause and each member received a bouquet of flowers.

It was a successful reception; on to next year’s edition!
