Who we are

European Pilot Selection & Training (EPST), located at Westkanaaldijk 5-11, 3542 DA Utrecht, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. For privacy questions, contact us at info@epst.nl or by phone at +31 30 238 32 32.

What data we process and why

We only process data that you provide to us yourself, for example through our application and contact forms (including your name, date of birth and educational background). We use this data to handle applications for selections and training programmes, to answer questions and to send you information. The legal basis is the performance of an agreement or, for enquiries, our legitimate interest in serving you properly. For newsletters and non-essential cookies the legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Messages sent through the contact form are kept for a maximum of one year after completion. Data required for our administration is kept for seven years, in line with Dutch fiscal retention obligations.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only share data with parties that help us deliver our services, such as our hosting provider (website hosting in the EU) and Google (analytics and video playback). Where required, we conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We only disclose data to authorities when legally obliged to do so.

Our website uses cookies. You can read which ones and why in our cookie policy. On your first visit we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies through the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time.

Statistics

We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used. These statistics are only loaded after you have given consent through the cookie banner. Read more in our cookie policy.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data, including a secure connection (https), strong passwords, restricted access and regular updates and backups of our website.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing, request restriction of processing and request data portability. Send your request to info@epst.nl; we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Changes

We may amend this privacy policy, for example when our website or services change. The current version is always available on this page.
