Pilot study

Do you dream of a career in the skies, travelling the world as a pilot or do you wonder what is a pilot study? European Pilot Selection & Training (EPST) is your perfect stepping stone. Discover everything about the EPST’s pilot training and the locations where you can undertake it.

Why choose your pilot study with EPST?

EPST offers comprehensive pilot study that prepares you for a successful career as an airline pilot with a global airline. Our courses, recognized by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), lead to the most comprehensive pilot licence: the European EASA ATPL(A) – INTEGRATED licence.

Thanks to our selection process, we only select the most suitable candidates for our training programmes. When you successfully complete the pilot training, we will facilitate your placement with an airline to start your career as a commercial pilot.

More than training for a license

At EPST, we don’t just train you to earn a license—we prepare you for a career with an airline. We help you land a job as a pilot. That’s why your practical training takes place off-campus. You’ll spend 18 months at our partner school abroad to earn your pilot’s license. Living and studying independently overseas drives significant personal growth. You’ll finish with an experience that’s truly invaluable.

Another reason we choose to work with external flight schools is to eliminate any conflicts of interest. Our selection process remains fully independent.

Learning to collaborate

After basic flight training, you’ll return to the Netherlands for EPST’s Airline Jet Foundation Course. This advanced program readies you to successfully complete a Jet Type Rating with an airline. Here, you’ll learn cockpit teamwork and how to respond to the situations you may face as a commercial pilot.

We partner only with seasoned pilots who draw on years of real-world experience to teach you what it takes to meet the standards of professional aviation. Together, you’ll deliver every passenger safely to their destination!
