An EPST delegation visited the World Aviation Training Summit, the largest global event for the aviation training sector, in recent days. More than 1,000 professionals attend this event each year, representing companies across the spectrum. This includes aviation schools, of course, but also game developers can be found here.
Networking and gathering new knowledge
With such a complete group of exhibitors, WATS is perfectly suited for networking. Since our partners are active all over the world, this event is a great opportunity to reconnect and exchange experiences in a short period of time. We also shared experiences with the many other training institutes.
Equally important is the gathering of new information, which are readily available at WATS. Which new concepts do fellow trainers apply, for example? And what are the new trends in areas such as simulator training?
WATS Conference offers a glimpse into the future
Every year, WATS also organizes conferences in the various fields of aviation training, such as Pilot Training and Cabin Crew Training. When it comes to acquiring knowledge, it doesn’t get any better than this: leading speakers present their insights here, with room for questions and discussion afterwards.
The future of the field was discussed here, including the increasing role of Virtual and Augmented Reality and AI in pilot training.
EPST is Bronze Sponsor of WATS 2025
EPST attaches great importance to sharing knowledge and experience with all parties involved in this field. Our training is top-notch and must remain so. We achieve this by continuously being open to new insights and evolving knowledge.
If everyone in this sector continues to learn from each other, we can optimize aviation safety and make this sector more efficient. Conferences such as WATS offer the ideal environment for this. That is why we are Bronze Sponsor of WATS 2025.
