EPST works together with 3 flight training schools at beautiful locations across Europe. A foreign adventure like that sounds nice, but where will you be living? Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about that: together with the flight school, EPST takes care of your accommodation, the costs of which are included in the total price of the flight training. The accommodations differ per location, but in all cases you will live together with one or more fellow students. What does the accommodation on location look like?
OSM Aviation Academy, Norway
The flight training at OSM is located in the picturesque Norwegian coastal town of Arendal, a medium-sized city with a lively center. The house or apartment offered by EPST is also located in the center. You can walk straight onto one of the many terraces and into the shops. And, as a plus, the OSM ground school is also within walking distance. Your theory lessons take place here. Depending on the size of the house or apartment, you will live with 1 to 6 fellow students.
You fly from Gulknapp Airport, about 20 minutes from Arendal. You can take a taxi to the airport for free, but many students also bring their own car. There is plenty of natural beauty to discover in the area!
Global Aviation, Greece
If you drive from Athens for an hour to the west, following the coast, you will arrive in the historic town of Megara. The Global Aviation flight school is located at Megara Airport. Here you work hard to make your dream come true, but Megara is an ideal place to blow off some steam and enjoy the white beaches with a cocktail or to taste the culture and Greek cuisine.
Global Aviation provides apartments for its students in Megara or in Nea Peramos, which is close by the airport and is located along the coast. Depending on availability, you will live with 2 or 3 fellow students. Before you leave for Greece, you will be forwarded photos of available apartments. This flight school also arranges your transport to and from Megara Airport via taxis.
Aero Locarno, Switzerland
Locarno is beautifully situated on the north side of Lake Maggiore. Tourists have known where to find the lake for years and spend hours on the road to get there, but if you choose Aero Locarno, the beautiful blue water will be at your feet for two years. In winter, the background turns white when the snow falls on the Alps.
Aero Locarno does it differently from the aforementioned flying schools. The students all live in the AELO Residence, a 3-storey building with 5 double rooms; you therefore live together with one fellow student. From the building you can walk to the theory lessons, but also to the picturesque city center. As an important town in a popular holiday area, Locarno is always busy, but the biggest event is the annual International Film Festival, which takes place in the Piazza Grande.
Locarno Airport is a 20-minute drive away. Transport is on your own, so many students have their own car. There is also a good connection by tram.
